Spin Charts Q1 report: Decoding the algorithm of entertainment
Spin Charts is Easygo’s new quarterly report, built on gameplay data from Stake. With over 20 million registered players and billions of bets placed in 2024, it offers one of the most comprehensive insights into real player behaviour in the online casino space.
We created Spin Charts to support studios, creators, and product teams—whether big or small—with real data that helps them build better games. The more visibility creators have into what’s working, the better the end result for the players. Staying close to the player has always been at the heart of Stake’s success, and this report is our way of extending that visibility to the broader industry.
This first edition covers January to March 2025 and is designed to be a trusted benchmark:
A clear view into what’s resonating with players
A foundational reference point for game performance
A source of truth for product and design teams
What Spin Charts tracks
Spin Charts analyses gameplay of Stake to surface real engagement patterns through two primary lenses: All Games and New Games. For a broad view, we ranked the top 200 slot games by total bet count—capturing frequency, popularity, and stickiness—and by total wager, which reflects perceived value and player trust. While some games attract high volumes of small bets and others fewer but higher-value spins, top performers tend to appear in both lists.
For new releases, we focused on titles launched during Q1 2025, evaluating only their first 14 days post-launch to ensure a level playing field. This approach reveals that players continue to gravitate toward familiar themes, with fishing adventures, western outlaws, and candy-styled slots dominating early engagement.
Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning. Future editions of Spin Charts will track movement across quarters, providing a clear view of how player preferences evolve over time. They will highlight both rising stars and declining performers in the market, offering timely insights into shifting trends. Additionally, upcoming reports will include deeper technical breakdowns and regional analyses to give studios and teams even more actionable data tailored to their specific markets and product needs.
We’re excited to build this into a vital resource for the industry—one that empowers better games, smarter decisions, and closer alignment with what players want.
